Examination

The prerequisite for the exam is to take a training course at one of the accredited providers. You have to prove the attendance to a ISSECO training by providing an attendance certificate. In case you do the exam directly after the training, the certificate will be handed out to you at the training and be proven prior the exam. It is then necessary to register for the exam at iSQI. Exams take place after each training course. In addition, it is possible to take the exam on one of iSQI's monthly public exam dates.

The exam is a multiple choice test with 60 questions. The maximum duration is 2 hours. No tools or resources are permitted during the examination. A valid photo identification must be presented in order to attend the exam. The exam is in English. If an examinee fails the exam, he may retry the exam without taking an additional training course, but the certification fee must be paid again.

Certificate

The certificate is limited in its validity to five years.

The exam fee is € 300.
